You can disable the following policies to prevent Chrome from sending user-entered information to Google.

Autofill Forms

Disabling this policy will prevent Chrome from saving user-entered data in forms (e.g., names, addresses, phone numbers).

  • Admin Console: Chrome > Settings > Users and Browsers > Autofill Forms

  • Windows Group Policy: Enable Autofill option

  • Mac/Linux Preference Name: AutoFillEnabled

Google Translate

Disabling this policy will prevent Chrome from offering translations for pages in languages not set in the user's language preferences.

  • Mac/Linux Preference Name: SearchSuggestEnabled

Spell Check
Disabling this policy will prevent Chrome from using Google's online spell check service to suggest corrections on managed devices.

  • Admin Console: Chrome > Settings > Users and Browsers > Spell Check Service

  • Windows Group Policy: Enable or disable web-based spell check

  • Mac/Linux Preference Name: SpellCheckServiceEnabled
